Life And Military

Well i don't think many people know that i'm headed into the military but don't fret i'll get to serve my mission first which is good and i need to pass my asvab test in order to join last time i took it i failed by 1 point! This time I should be able to do better i know i can i'm so excited! it's a big turn in my life but i'll get my schooling paid for and well i'll be doing a lot better

The Temple

I went to the temple for the first time today and i must say that it was really amazing. As soon as i was on the temple grounds i felt a warm sensation and it was freezing outside. When i walked in I saw how beautiful it was everyone was dressed in white and i went to go baptisms for the dead which was amazing i felt like they were there with me when i entered that baptizmal font. The walk to the font was like i was floating. As I walked to the font i heard something inside me Testify that this was the true church of christ. I walked into the water and it was very warm. I did my baptizms and well i feel great i'm going to go every tuesday which is awesome. I hope someday that my mom will be able to come with me but if it never happens in this life i'll understand. I love my Heavenly father

Chick-Fil-A And Love

So yesterday was my first "real" day at chick fil a and to tell you the truth it was quite interesting i realized that i can make an idiot of myself and they wouldn't care since i'm new! hahaha. I love working the people that i work with. Anyway I hope i get this second job that i'm applying for i had an interview with them last week now i got to go back and have another one hopefully after that i can get the fingerprinting done so i can get hired. I'll be making like $11 an hour! it's sweet! The Other thing is that I have a feeling that that special someone loves me alot and I love them deeply deeper than oblivion!

Life Is Normal Again

Ah it seems to me that life is yet again where it's supposed to be at this time and day. I work and i have time to rest it's kinda a trade off but my second job is opening on November 6th and well it's been a crazy time trying to get the store set up before it opens. What more can i ask for? I've got everything that i'll ever need in life right here in Salt Lake City i don't think life can get anymore exciting than this. Marching Band is over and now i still do music but with more of a passion. 

Missionary

we'll i'm proud to say that soon i'll be an elder in the church within the next month. I'm enjoying every part of church these days i go to church for three hours then i go to missionary prep then i go to choir practice i call that a "SUPER SUNDAY" i find it more of a way to keep your self holy and if you doubt it try being me 

I'm Satisfied With Everyone!

Well it seems that yet again marching band has come to an end except for region. As i was helping the band and drumline i learned that people who didn't like each other came together to work and help each other. It's seems also that everyone grew up just a little everyday. Even though we had a good season but didn't get any awards i'm really satisfied with everything that everyone one did i couldn't have asked for more. I went to the competitions looking for a reason to be a threat to other bands which we are but then i saw the huge bands and i was like eh we don't need to be a threat to everyone. I went to the cornmaze on saturday and i was abundantly satisfied except for the fact that I got hit with corn when i kicked it i feel stupid now lol

Just More Work To Be Done

I've decided that i've got a lot to do here. I'm currently working with my high schools drumline and pit (which they kick butt at what they do! proud of you guys!) getting them ready to perform their show to dominate this weekend cause we were cheated last weekend. I've also got 2 jobs right now i'm only working at one. Life is pretty good but hard it really is. Being 19 and getting ready for a mission, trying to read the book of mormon and doing other things pertaining to that is so hard but i know it's what my heavenly father wants me to do. People don't see me as normal and they shouldn't after all i'm a band geek! I love everything about my life even the hard parts. I have a great family and great joy in my life. My One love in life Heather! She's my world my home and my future. I make every moment count in this life cause we only get one shot and i want to be the best!

Band And Wanting To Choke Someone

So it's week two of competing in marching band. We went to payson on saturday and performed our best out there that we've ever done since my sophmore year. So we found out that we had biased judges that said we were really good but gave us the crappiest scores that we didn't deserve. They gave the rest of the bands that sucked and that weren't together better scores it was crap. We got 2nd best percussion we would have had first if we had 2 more points. Anyway all we know is that we did a great job and that next weekend at timinogos we will dominate. So other than that i know someone who i personally want to beat the hell out of right now but i'm not going into that right now cause i want to be in a good mood

Marching Season! Yeah!

So it's yet again marching season. The best time of the year when all the band geeks unite to show off what they all have been working for. I've been lately working from 5am to 2pm at my regular job (not the funnest but still loving it) then i get to work with my high schools band,pit, and drumline. it's so much fun but tiring. We have recently went to USU competition placed fourth not the best that we can do but it'll satisfy for now.I love everything about band season.
